Dr. Sagawa made a presentation at the 43rd Annual Meeting of the Japan Society of Energy and Resources

2024.08.06

Dr. Taishi Sagawa, a specially-appointed researcher belonging to Tanaka Laboratory, presented his research on energy transportation of floating offshore wind turbines in the exclusive economic zone at the 43rd Japan Society of Energy and Resources. Storage batteries and hydrogen storage have been attracting attention as a method of energy transportation from the sea to land. In this research, storage batteries and hydrogen storage systems are modeled, and the optimal transportation system is searched for for each ocean area and distance from shore. This research is one of the results of joint research between our laboratory and Toyota Motor Corporation.
